When it comes to Tom Keifer there is just so much to say. The iconic voice of Cinderella is on his first ever solo tour, celebrating the solo record debut that has been ten years in the making. The album is due out at the end of April. Cinderella was one of the biggest acts to come out of the 80s with hits like “Somebody Save Me,” “Shake Me,” “Gypsy Road,” and one of the biggest ballads of all time, “Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone).” Tom is a special performer known for a distinctive voice similar to AC/DC's Brian Johnson, his blues-infused rock songs, and the ability to play a laundry list of instruments (guitar, piano, harmonica, and saxophone just to name a few).
What made this show so special was its mix of classic Cinderella tunes with the new solo material and duets performed with his wife. That was a nice side of Tom to see. He chatted about making the record and shared the stories behind his biggest hits. I was lucky to meet Tom after the show, thank him not only for a great performance but for everything he's done in music.
